Larry Valentine (Kevin James) and Chuck Levine (Adam Sandler) are two single firemen and best friends. With Larry being too upset over his wife's death, doesn't change his primary beneficiary from his wife to his kids within the deadline so his only option is to get married He doesn't trust anyone besides his friend Chuck so they decide to 'play gay' and get a domestic partnership to get the benefits.
